Which time of year are rooms the cheapest?
There are two times of the year you can get good rates:
Summer
Seriously, it it very hot in the daytime and pleasantly warm at night. If you don't enjoy the heat, your in luck! FAQs; Las Vegas has air conditioning! You can enjoy all the great Vegas entertainment and gambling and stay nice and cool while getting some great room rates.
Late Fall
Las Vegas still has nice weather (60F) but many tourists have settled in for the winter and aren't traveling at this time so there will be more cheap rooms available.
How old do I have to be to drink and gamble?
FAQs: You must be 21 to drink, go to clubs or gamble. We don't have any "18 to enter, 21 to drink" places. Those under 21 can walk through gaming areas but aren't allowed to just hang out.
How do I dress in Las Vegas?
Many visitors wear the same thing they would wear to go shopping on Saturday afternoon at home. Shorts and a t-shirt in the summer, jeans in the winter are a good bet.
Many return Las Vegas visitors like to brag about how little they pack because they pack just the basics. You might want to bring along some nicer clothes if attending a Las Vegas Show, nightclub or if you are wining and dining. Some of these establishments have dress codes in effect.
This is Las Vegas! Live it up, let your hair down and dress it up a little in the evening.
Tip: You will do a lot more walking in Las Vegas than you will probably do anywhere else. This is not the place to break in a new pair of shoes. Bring comfortable footwear that you can walk all day in. Pace yourself, and because the lack of humidity is deceiving it is a good idea to take bottled water with you to prevent dehydration.

Can I smoke in Las Vegas?
FAQs: Most restaurants and buffets have separate smoking and non-smoking sections and you can smoke in the casinos. If smoke bothers you, we suggest playing at one of the newer casinos that have high ceilings and state-of-the-art air filtration. All hotels have non-smoking rooms.
Cigar smoking is accepted here than most areas, but don't assume you can just light up anywhere you want. Ask the dealer if it is OK to do this at the table. Some will discourage it, others will grab you a special cigar ashtray straight away.
When is last call for alcohol?
FAQs: This is a question that can be answered in one single word. NEVER. You can buy a bottle of Johnny Walker at the supermarket at 6AM if you want. However, be careful, because if you are drunk any alcohol server can stop serving you if they feel you have crossed your limit.
Do you have to be a guest of a hotel to go in the Casino?
Definately not! In fact, they want to encourage you and want your business. The mistake visitors make is to stay in their hotel/casino the whole trip. Be adventurous and explore what Las Vegas has to offer! Check out the inside of as many hotels as possible. The themed architecture is amazing, the lights colorful and the layouts are eye catching. In fact, you don't even have to be a guest to park in the casino parking lot and you can also use the free hotel valet parking.
How do I get the best hotel room rates?
Hotel rooms are like airline tickets and the rates can change by the day and even by the hour depending on how much in demand they are. The best bet is to book 3-5 months earlier. Any earlier and you might pay higher "rack" rates.
Does Las Vegas have fabulous weather all year long?
Well, not exactly. If you want 75-90 degree highs with moderate overnight temperatures all year around (and can deal with the humidity), visit Florida.
