The
Fremont Street experience
is something everyone should see while they are visiting and discovering Las Vegas attractions and the best thing is that it is free for everyone. Fremont Street is usually beaming with neon lights but when this show is about to start, the lights are shut off. A computer generated light spectacular spans five city blocks in a frame overhead. Two million lights and 208 speakers beam a 10 minute moving picture show. You won't be able to look away as you will be watching thundering herds of buffalo, a tropical jungle with flora and exotic birds, a cartoon orchestra, rows of dancing girls kicking to a samba beat and so much more. The only places to sit is the starbucks sidewalk cafe and the balcony at Fitzgerald's, it is best to get there early. Enjoy this fabulous Las Vegas attraction and all of the lights!
There are two famous musuems that are considered two of the best Las Vegas attractions. The ever so popular and greatly expanded
Liberace Museum
gets amazing reviews from almost every visitor even if they don't really know of the famous man. This extensive museum collection includes several of his pianos, 6 of his one-of-a-kind cars, lavish costumes, furs and his stage jewerly. This museum also has a gift shop with many musical retail items and souvenirs. Tickets are usually $12 for adults and children under 10 are free to enter.
Another museum we recommend to all of you 'Elvis lovers' out there, is the Elvis-A-Rama Museum at 3401 Industrial Road. It is not as famous as the Liberace Museum but still brings in a wonderful crowd. It is a fitting tribute to the 'King' himself and has the world's most authentic items. You will love it when you come across the kings 1955 Fleetwood Cadillac that he used on tour and his 'blue suede shoes'! Call 702-309-7200 for more information and hours of operation.
